Welcome to the Jackpot Community Trust
Thank you for visiting the Jackpot Community Trust website.
By playing our lotteries, you are raising money to help communities throughout the UK. With each play, we are able to support local community groups, disadvantaged people, families, and other good causes across the whole of the United Kingdom.
All good cause funds raised through our lotteries are distributed by The Jackpot Community Trust, a registered grant-giving charity dedicated to making a meaningful and lasting difference to the lives of people across the UK.
An Exciting New Addition – The Scottish Children’s Lottery
From the 1st of May 2026, the Jackpot Community Trust is proud to take on the promotion of the Scottish Children’s Lottery and the distribution of the good cause funding it generates. This marks a significant and exciting milestone for the Trust, extending our reach and deepening our commitment to supporting children and young people across Scotland.
The Scottish Children’s Lottery continues to give players the chance to win fantastic prizes, while ensuring that vital funds are directed towards charities and organisations working to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people, particularly those impacted by poverty, financial hardship, disability, illness or socio-economic disadvantage.
Alongside the Scottish Children’s Lottery, we will continue to distribute good cause funding generated from The Scotto and What a Lotto, supporting a wide range of charitable causes across the UK.
Grant Applications – Scottish Children’s Lottery 2026 Funding Window
As part of the transition from the Scottish Children’s Lottery Trust to the Jackpot Community Trust from the 1st of May 2026, the Jackpot Community Trust will be assuming responsibility for the assessment and distribution of funding relating to Scottish Children’s Lottery Trust’s first 2026 funding window, which closed on Friday 24th April 2026.
We want to reassure all organisations that submitted an application during this window that the process will continue to run in accordance with the timeline and information provided to you by the Scottish Children’s Lottery Trust at the time of submission:
Funding Announcements: By the end of June 2026
Funding Distributed: August 2026
The review and decision-making process will now be overseen by the Jackpot Community Trust Board, and any funding awards made will be distributed by the Jackpot Community Trust. Applicants can be confident that this transition will have no impact on the integrity or thoroughness of the assessment process, nor on the advertised timeline for decisions and awards.
The online grant platform remains in place and fully operational. Organisations can continue to access the platform using their existing log in details and through the usual channel, there is no change to how the platform is accessed or used. In the coming weeks, the platform will be updated to reflect the transition to the Jackpot Community Trust, however this will have no impact on current applications, previous applications or any historic awards held within the platform.

No further action is required from applicants at this stage. Should we require any additional information, such as further documentation, an interview or a visit, a member of the Jackpot Community Trust team will be in touch directly.
If you have any questions regarding your application or the transition, please do not hesitate to contact us.
